Well, I was thinking about ice skating, today,(mostly because I had the opportunity to do some) and the following thought came to my mind. Why, when you fall down, do you blame the ice? It could be the skates. Or it could be the Fred trying to pull your glove out of your pocket and being very adamant in resisting your attempts to get him off of you. (And yes, that did happen to me.) But Freds aside, is it really the fault of the ice or the skate that you fall down? Granted, there may be a crack in the ice that makes you stumble, but you are riding on the skate, and that is what goes out of control when you hit the crack. It's rather curious, and I tend to believe that it is actually the fault of your feet more than the fault of the skates or the ice. But then again, if your feet are responsible, what does that mean for your legs?
Either way you will end up falling when you lose your balance, so I suppose it's one of those things in life where you never know what it's caused by, but it happens anyways, and you just have to overcome it and try again. In life there are three kinds of people, the kind that, when learning to skate fall and get up and try again, the kind that, when learning to skate fall and leave the ice, and the kind that sit on the sidelines laughing at these amateurs falling all over the place. I consider myself to be in all three categories.

that's my speciality. You should know that by now!
I think if you fall down, then it's your fault.
But what if Fred pulls you down? Isn't it Fred's fault then?
