Heck

Boy, I don't know why I'm still posting. I haven't had a decent post in ages. My brain is under much creative strain. It feels like I'm just out of creativity. As if someone grabbed my brain, and put it through a ringer and squished all the creative juices out of it. Wow, that was graphic. But seriously, I haven't written on my book, or on anything important, in weeks. I feel pathetic. This post is just going down hill. I had better end it before I spill out my heart on the idiotic problems I'm experiencing. And, more importantly, I must remember, "Life is good, even when it's not!"

Let's Keep in Touch

So, la dee doo. I'm feeling like Boo. Boo Radley. Not really. But it did rhyme. Oh well. If it sounds good, I'll write it. Well, if I like it. There are things that sound good that I don't like. Grab your root beer hold it high, whack your shipmate in the eye! Okay, so I really have got nothing original tonight. But, I'm hitting it with my best shot. Waitaminute. Oh, for criminey sakes. Let's sail south. ^<> Oh, that reminds me, I beat wind waker early yesterday. Later mateys! Argh. Drink up me hearties, yo ho!

Something

I might start this post the way I start most other posts.(course, considering I just started the post...) But I'm not. You know why? Because I'm in love with her and I feel fine! Yeah, so, if you haven't noticed already, I'm a bit weird tonight. They're talking chipmunks, Dave. They can get out of a cat carrier. Run, hop, skip, jump, fly! Go get the pie in the sky! I wonder what flavor it is, the pie in the sky. Maybe it's rye. That'd be odd. Finally, I have one last thing to say. And it's this: He got hair, down, to his knee. Got to be a joker he just do what he please! And by the way, I've got a pencil on my ear.

She's Gone

Well, I didn't realize that Barnum was really over until tonight. Aye, and now I'm feeling it. Of course, she was unique, as they all are. She sang, danced, and humbugged her way into my heart and mind in a manner that had never quite been done before. And now, it's a Friday night, and I didn't perform. It took until now for the feelings to set in. And now I feel them rather strongly. Ah, well, that is the way of shows. It shan't be too long before another. But until then, I shall miss not performing as much as always.

There was a sucker,
Born every minute,
Each time that second hand swept to the top
Like dandelions up they'd pop
Their ears so big their eyes so wide,
And though I fed em bonified baloney...

5 Minute Post

Okay, let's see what kind of a post I can make in five minutes. And, GO! Well, I really haven't got very much to say. Just watched Time's Arrow, the TNG with Mark Twain. It was as good as I remembered it. The clock ticks on. Tick, tock, tick, tock. A bit ominous. 3 minutes left. Okay, let's see, what else can I say. Man, I am out of ideas. I just can't think of anything. Root beer is good. Tasty. I think that Viennese Waltz is the most tiring dance I've ever done. Not to mention dangerous. We had three people go down during today's lesson. Yes, I was one, and yes, I was responsible for another. No, they did not happen at the same time. It was crazy out there! Oop, time's up. G'night folks. Drink up me hearties, Yo Ho!

Scotch

I just read the first word that I saw, and shall now make a post about it. At first glance, you may think I'm writing about an alcoholic beverage. In truth, i saw the word on an empty tape dispenser. And now I'm thirsty. I had quite a bit of root beer over the weekend. I wonder if scotch tape has anything to do with Scots. I know why it does! Scotty drinks scotch. That he does. It's good. Now I want something to drink. Cold water, no rocks. Oh, I suppose I'm the bartender. Or I was. Long ago, in a play far far away...

Prediction

Well, I have a prediction to make for everyone. I think that if they actually start producing Apteras at the cost and performance they have now, they'll blow the competition in the commuter car market out of the water. For those of you who don't know, the Aptera is a car made of composite plastics, the prototype of which gets over 230MPG, and is as safe(if not safer) then a normal car. Here's the website: http://www.aptera.com/about.php. All I can say is, I want one! It would be awesome. And who knows, maybe, a few years down the road, I'll have one. I won't know till I get there. Thank you and goodnight.

Just Because

I'm posting just because I want to. It's past my bed time. I'm not very good at keeping it, am I? I suppose I had better be off. I was really just dropping in to remind everyone:

Remember...

Life is good, even when it's not!

Nondescript

I saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks" today. It was pretty darn good. I loved the bad guy because he was the principal in "She's the Man". And I loved Theodore. He rocks! So, I guess that not very many people are reading this anymore, huh? If you are reading this, then comment already! If you don't, I'll have to sick the mysterious Tickc on you! What's a tickc, you ask? MUAHAHAHA!!! They're mysterious creatures. Actually, that's pretty much all we know about them. Except for what they look like. Which is a ball of lint 1/2 to 5 inches in diameter, with bunches of creepy crawly legs and hundred of fangs. So you don't want one sicked on you. And that's that. That's all.

Oh, I could leave but I won't go,
Though my heart might tell me so...

Incredible Odds

So, this evening Mom was showing Michael and I a game Rachel likes to play to practice her multiplication tables. She asks a question that is answered by a number, rolls two twelve sided dice, multiplies them, and that's the answer to her question. So anyways, mom was demonstrating this, and she used "How many legs does an octopus have?" and the dice came up 1 and 8. That, my friends, had an odds of 1 to 144 of happening. And the fact that it was right only made it creepier. But, as I like to say, odds are only odds. Aye, I love it when the dice fall my way. It's lucky. Of course, there's not actually such a thing as luck. It's mostly providence or physics. But, I guess you could call it luck. It doesn't really matter. As long as I know what you're talking about, you can call it pustaped for all I care. And, as long as I'm talking about luck, I find that my own is often increased after uttering the phrase: "For death and flippin glory!" I ought to do some serious experimentation on that. That reminds me about Ben's flippin toyoda. But, that's another post. Later

Not Much

Well, I'm posting, even though I would rather be doing something else, so I hope you all read and enjoy(and comment!). Anyways, things are good. Last night we had our best performance yet, with today being a somewhat distant second. So, life's good. Yeaaah, I can't really think of anything really good to say. I may as well burst into song. The first one that comes to my head.

Well I tried to make it Sunday,
But I got so darn* depressed,
So I set my sights on Monday,
And I got myself undressed,
Well I ain't ready for the alter,
But I do agree there's times,
When a woman sure can be a friend of mine.

That's true. Except I'm not depressed at all. Oh well. That's a deep subject. Pudding. I think that'll be all. G'night folks, and remember:

Life is good, even when it's not!

*=More colorful metaphor in real song. But we don't like to use it around here...

P.S. Kudos if you can identify the song and artist.

A Strange Combination

Well, this evening after I got home the play, I tried a strange combination. Baked potato, with butter, salt, and vanilla ice cream on it. It was surprisingly good. The only problem was that the ice cream kinda melted really fast. And I cut a hole in the paper plate. But it was good anyways. That'll be all for tonight I think. This is the Highland Sage, signing out.

Just Some More Randomness

Yo folks! How's life? I'm good. I've almost made it a week with a post everyday! Just have to post tomorrow and I'm good. I think that fast and deadly lawyers often drink lattes while on their way to the synagogue. Well, I wouldn't know. I've never known a Jewish lawyer. Are there any? Probably a few. Of course there are! Gosh, what am I saying? Anyways, I haven't anything else to say. Except that fey have invaded Ray Bay! Hey hey! Ok, that'll be all. Later!

It's 10:38, and YOU ARE LOVED!

Yeti

Have you ever seen a yeti? I haven't. I think it would be cool. Did you know that yetis are strikingly intelligent? That's why they only use stone clubs. They've realized that's all that they need to deal crippling blows to their enemies. Of course, who gets on the bad side of a yeti? Certainly not me!

Post

This is the post that has the title of Post. I'll post about pots. Pots are vessels, usually constructed of clay. If you didn't know that, you're obviously not from around these parts. Wow, I don't believe how dull that last sentence sounded. Anyways, I ought to write something funny. Here goes:
An old man ate some rocks one day,
Why he did, I cannot say,
Sadly, then, he went to fish,
And his boat sunk with a "blub blub swish".

Wow, that was dumb. I'm quitting while I'm ahead. Drink up me hearties yo ho!

Never Thought I'd Say This...

Well, this evening I said something I never thought I'd say. I said:
"Go Hillary Clinton! You can do it!"

Now, don't be alarmed, I haven't been changed in any way. Let me explain. Michael, Nathan and I were playing a game I made up, which we simply refer to as "The Ship Game". Part of the game involves naming spaceships before you know what stats or anything they have. So Michael named a ship the Hillary Clinton. It was a large frigate. Anyways, I ended up buying it at the auction. Later on Michael was attacking me, and I sent out the Hillary Clinton to defend. It was quite a fight, but I won the battle in the end, against unlikely odds. And that is why, during the battle, I yelled "Go Hillary Clinton! You can do it!". Looking back it was a long, fun, and bloody game. And it made me say something I never thought I would say in my life, and it kept Nathan up two hours past his bedtime. I must have designed it well. Thank you, and goodnight.

Complicated

Well, life is complicated. Sometimes more than others. Think I'm in a "more" phase at the moment. Or it could just be I'm up late and behind on sleep. It's never easy being a poet. But then again, it's never easy being anything is it? Ah well.

Life's a dance you learn as you go,
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow.
Don't worry bout what you don't know,
Life's a dance you learn as you go.

Stay in, watch yourself, and things will look up eventually. And remember, life is good, even when it's not!

Judgment

Well, I was thinking about judging and prejudice and what not earlier. I think there's a fine line between not judging someone before you met them, and being stupid. I mean, after all, you have to make some judgement about a person. But you can't be too harsh, or characterize them by groups they belong to. And the Bible does say "Judge not." But what's meant by that? I think you have to think of each person as an individual, not as a part of the groups they belong to. Of course, you can and probably should take into consideration the person's background. But don't say they are automatically a bad person just because of it. Always give people the benefit of a doubt. It's a rather interesting vein of thought, really...

GLUCOSE!!!!!!!!

Well, I just got home from opening night of the new play! I would do something poetic, except that glucose from three glasses of Root Beer is coursing through my veins at half a million miles per second, and I'm bouncing off the walls(figuratively), and it's past midnight. So, it was a good show. I'll do something poetic tomorrow. I'm gonna go play Wind Waker now until I feel remotely like I could sleep if I lied in my bed. So, I geuss that's it till next time.

Drink up me hearties, YO HO!
Yo ho, yo ho a sage's life for me...

Practically Nothing

Well, I've nothing to say. Half my family is gone for three days. What fun. I really, can not for the life of me think of anything to say. My creative energies must be drained. Oh well,

Life's good, even when it's not!
