Fun Evening

Well, tonight was definitely a full, fun evening. I mean, how often do you get to inhale a little chlorine gas(accidentally of course...), play heroscape, celebrate a birthday(ice cream sandwiches!), and play Sniho in one evening? Totally a fun evening, I must say! Not to mention the beaker was all steaming and blue and bubbling before the gas got bad. Anyways...

I couldn't do it. I wasn't able to post every day for a week. But I'm trying again! Hopefully I'll post every day in the next week. I'll make time. I'm going to be doing more adventures of Dan Kruger this week, for sure. Iy yi yi. That's a funny onomatopoeia. I'm not really coming up with anything particularly wise or funny right now, so I'm just gonna let this post slide of into the past now. Remember:

Life is good, even when it's not!

100th Post!

Can You Believe it?!?! It's the Sage's Hundredth post!! It's completely awesome. I can barely believe I've made 100 posts on this blog. That's a lot of writing, even though I didn't write all the posts myself(the ghost story and the posts of song lyrics being examples of posts I didn't write). Still though, it's a major milestone. To celebrate my 10th post I listed 10 sagey things. I've decided to celebrate my 100th post on this blog with a list 100 random, creepy, and cool things. In essence just random thoughts. What else is this blog for? They'll be people, places, things, events, days, quotes, whatever I feel like. Ooh, here's an idea, everybody can vote for their favorite thing in each of the categories(random, cool, and creepy), and for one that is the "most sagey" via comment, and I'll think of some way to honor the winners. Okay, down to the list:

Xylophone

The title has little, if anything, to do with the post. I just wanted to make a post title that started with "X". And now I have. On to the post!

I man am regal, a German am I. Not actually, though I am of German descent. That reminds me of something. Which I'm not going to say. Anyways...

Argh! Avast! You there, swab! Yes, I be talkin to ye. Go swab the deck and shine the cannon, and when you're done you can have some of that delicious gruel! I always get into pirate shenanigans when I haven't got any other ideas coming to mind. I wonder why that is. I wonder if anyone else has a certain thing they always fall back on when they can't think of anything. I wonder why they ever decided we'd like round green pencils just because they are made form recycled material. And I wonder why I ask so many questions, when I should be sagering. Ah well. Be sure to look in later tomorrow evening, or Saturday morning for the "100th post". It's going to be great.

Drink up me hearties, you ho!

Freakishly Awesome

I hereby declare this post freakishly awesome. Not quite sure why, but it being that that's what it is. So that's that. I hope you think this post is as freakishly awesome as I think it is.
(;..;) <- That is a fanged fuzzball. And that's all for now.

Final Sprint

Honestly I'm only posting because I'm on the home stretch to my 100th post. And I'm seeing whether or not I could go a whole week posting everyday. So far it seems to be the same, about the same amount of comments too. But oh well, at least I amuse myself. That's more what this blog is for anyways. More to amuse myself then to write something I expect to be read. I only have it online instead of in a book because it's easier to type then write, and for the off chance that in amusing myself I could amuse someone else. Yeah. It's too late. I hope I didn't make any of you, you know, feel like I cared less about you. Because it's not true. I love you just as much as always. That means you, Alexander! All of the rest of you too, but I saw Alexander looking worried there for a second. Well, it's been a wonderful post people, but I'm afraid I must go.

Life is good, even when it's not!

Keep Moving Forward

I'm almost to 100 posts! I'm so close! Just gotta keep moving forward. Ring my doorbell. No, ring mine. Oh, never mind. Then Payton Manning comes up and...

Anyways, I haven't got a subject for this post. And yeah. I was 0/2 on Heroscape today. It was dismal, and abysmal. If not just slightly depressing. The sad thing was my team could have won the second round, but I made a few critical errors. Oh well. My, that's a deep subject. Now, a song:

Oh, I'm a lucky fella,
I'm a lucky boy,
I've got me new umbrella,
And it's me pride and joy!
Oh the rain may come,
And the sun may go,
I'll be warm and dry,
From me head to toe!
Oh I'm a lucky fella,
I'm a lucky boy!

And no, that's not original. But it is a very like me song. Except I never use umbrellas. Oh well, gotta go!

Oh, I'm a lucky fella,
I'm a lucky boy...

Ho Ya!

Ok! Since there was discussion on whether or not my last poem was a limerick, I shall now attempts to write a proper limerick, per the AABBA rhyme scheme, with typical limerick meter.

There once was a mean fat old boar,
Who always demanded "want more!",
Then one day a slave,
Threw him in a cave,
to which he shouted: "What bore!".

HO YA! Ok, I'll admit that stunk. But it's past midnight, what do you expect? A Shakespearean sonnet? Not a bad idea actually.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more fair and more temperate...

He Is Risen!

Jesus Christ is Risen! Alleluia, Alleluia! And I, for one, had a perfectly marvelous Easter. Grand, simply grand! Definitely one of the best days of the year. I sang at the vigil mass and two this morning, and it was fantastic, though a bit tiring. And now, if you would permit the interruption, I'd like to say a few words of randomness. Let's do some rapid-fire bulletins.

1. Madam, I'm Adam. Aye. This has been a public service announcement. If you're interested in hearing more on that, comment.

2. Au, Gold. Element #79. Atomic mass to ten thousandth AMUs: 196.9665. Description: yellow, expensive.

3. Red Alert! Captain, we have a breach in one of the primary plasma conduits, we're going to have to 'BOOM' 'hisssssss'. Coolant leak, we have a coolant leak, everybody out! Let's go, move move. 'PGOOH' 'annoying telephone like sound' Warning, core breach imminent, core breach will occur in 35 seconds.

4. Jergumblespuz.

5. Elanor Rigby, picks up the rice
In a church where a wedding has been.
Lives in a dream.
Waits at the window,
Wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by her door.
Who is it for?

All the lonely people,
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people,
Where do they all belong?

(violin part)
-sage covertly sneaks off to bed, softly singing 'Jesus Christ is Risen Today'.

Not Night

Night's not nigh now. No matter, I can post just the same! My shoe is off, my foot is cold. and now this line is getting old. I shall now compose a limerick:

There once was a man from A. Prime,
Who would swallow a lime for a dime,
But one day he said: 'I am going to bed',
And when he woke up, he was dead.

Ok, so limericks aren't my specialty, but it's about the same caliber as the one about Zach right? Oh well, whatever. I be off.

Adventures of Dan Kruger, Episode 2

Well, I'm not sure any of you remember, but in my Christmas post I started a story and said that I'd write more on it. So here's more:

The next morning Dan wasn't quite sure if the previous night had been a dream, or whether or not it had been a figment of his imagination, or the third and probably worst for him, it had been real. Either way his head was throbbing from the moment he woke up, so he knew that the hangover was at least real. He got up and went to his kitchen to find something to eat. After downing a large glass of water, a couple Tylenols, and eating several pop tarts, his head was beginning to clear. Mostly because of the water and medicine, not because of the pop tarts. But anyways, as his head cleared he slowly began to remember the previous night, all that had been discussed, and that he had signed on as an agent in a special organization he did not yet understand. Then he remembered that he was leaving this morning for training for his new job, so he hurriedly went and got dressed and threw some clothes and other items into a bag he could easily carry. It was just in time to, for barely a minute after he finished, the doorbell rang. He heaved the bag onto his shoulder, and went and answered the door. The muscular man, and the Beatles man, were both outside the door. He remembered that the muscular man's name was Rick, but he couldn't for the life of him remember much about the other man, except that he didn't talk much.
"Hi Dan." Rick said. "You can let him take your bag." he said indicating the Beatles man. Dan handed over his luggage. "Let's be off then." And with that Rick strode right across the lawn of Dan's stately suburban manor and got into a sleek black car that was parked in the street. Dan followed. He sat in the back with the Beatles man, while Rick drove.
"So, uh, I don't exactly recall where we're going." Dan said shakily as they drove off.
"We're going to the main base of our secret organization." Rick replied.
"And where's that?" asked Dan.
"It's basically where we all live and hang out when not on a mission." Replied Rick evasively.
"And where do you all live?" Dan asked, starting to get annoyed.
"We all live in a Yellow Submarine!" replied the Beatles man.
"You can't be serious?!" exclaimed Dan in exasperation.
"Oh, he certainly is." Rick said with a chuckle, as the car accelerated onto the highway.

-To be continued.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Lull

Well, I'm tired. There seems to have been a general lull around here in the past several days, but I'm taking in in stride. Or, trying to take it in stride. So, even though I may feel as if nothing has been going on in my life (things have been happening that aren't really in my life, there's news as always, stuff has definitely happened, just not to me it seems) I plunge on. I think it's part of the human experience really. So, when it seems as if nothing is moving, and you're not sure you're doing any good where you're at, remember the words of John Lennon: "There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be." Aye. The Beatles are great. They were definitely blessed with incredible talent. I hope that I will be able to use my gifts half as well. Well, anyways...
I'm sure it'll pass, no doubt sooner than it should!

It's 11:05, and you are loved!

Spam

Well, I was actually suprised, today I only got one email, and it was spam. At least I didn't get spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans, and spam. of course, i never get baked beans in my email, but that is beside the point. And the point is sharp. It's a dangerously pointy point. English muffin's up! Got to go!

Bugs For You!

Well, I think that the title of this post pretty much explains everything. No need to go into further detail about that. Anyways...

Things were windy today. I'm afraid I'll wake up in the morning and there will be a bunch of parted puddles. I suppose the wind isn't that strong, but still. It's windier then I like to be out in. Hopefully it'll bring a storm. We could use a little rain. It hasn't rained for a long time. I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain? I have, but it's been so long I can barely remember. Well, maybe not that long, but it sure hasn't been recently! Hope for rain. Wow, did I just spend half a post talking about the weather? I better quit while I'm ahead.
Drink up me hearties yo ho!

Cabbage

Have you ever heard of something more dumb in and of itself then a cabbage? Maybe a turnip. anyways though, cabbages are pretty dumb. Of course, not to say they don't have their uses, but if you just found a cabbage sitting in a park you'd probably be more likely to say to yourself: "That's dumb" than "Oh, look, a cabbage! What luck!" Well, I guess that's more one of those things that you decide in the moment. I'm sure a hobo would think himself lucky to find a cabbage. I like cabbage actually. Boiled with salt. Or fried with sausage. What's not good fried with sausage? Yeah. Cabbage. Think about it.

Unyneryn

Well, just thought I'd better be a checkin' in, before you all sick a mob of crazed, discontented, peasants after me. They, of course, upon catching me, would proceed to throw me to the Unyneryn. If you don't know, a Unyneryn is a horrible beast with two short, stubby legs, two evil eyes, a huge mouth, and a tail with a blunt instrument on the end. It's bipedal and on average stands about eight to nine feet tall. And I don't want to be thrown to it, because it will eat my head. So I'm posting now. Anyways...

I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe in how...

Five points to anybody who knows what song that was from. And when I say points, I mean Sage frequent Reader points, redeemable only on leap days, for, um, whatever I have on me at the time to give to you. Goodnight.

Sick

I'm posting early because I'm sick. I'll be in bed within half an hour. I have today found it's amazing how your will to do things you don't particularly want to is so drastically reduced when you're not in ship shape. Yeah. Good thing I want to do this. I'm now going to say five things that come to mind, just to be random: Spaghetti, pizza, rat poo, canned air, Shakespeare. Those things have nothing to do with each other by the way. Think I'll do another five: Dominic, Arkansas, kettle corn, politics, Andy Griffith. Goodnight.

Writing, Brett

Well, I've been doing a good bit of writing in the last few weeks. Except that this week I've been splitting my creative juices with getting ready for roleplaying. And of course I always seem to have just enough randomness in me for the blog at the end of the day.

Anyways, I'm not sure how many of you know or care, but Brett Favre is really retiring this year. it makes me just slightly sad, he's been starting for the Packers since several years before I started liking football. And they say it's strange, and that one day I just woke up and was a Packers fan. (that's what they tell me, I don't remember it) It leads me to believe that Green Bay fans are born, not made. I mean, I'm not a fanatic, though I would love to watch a game at Lambou(is that how it's spelled?) field, no matter if it's zero degrees outside. But, back on track: Brett is leaving football. I feel a little like I did when Steve Irwin died. Kinda a feeling like: "Aye, Brett Favre retired, and already the world seems a bit less bright."

Ah well, it'll pass, no doubt sooner than it should!

MARCH 4TH!!! (again)

Well, today is March 4th, the most commanding day of the year! And I almost posted some boring post with a deep subject. It was about a well. Get it, a well, deep subject?!?! LOL. Ok, so it's not quite that funny. It's more like an lol. O well. The deep subject! This is getting me nowhere...

Today is the day we all march forth! Well, actually I only walked forth. Into the forest. And fooled with a recorder. I actually figured out the song of time from Ocarina of Time, except that I can't get the end part right becuase the recorder can't go that low. Oh well. The deep subject! This is getting me nowhere... (say that sounds familiar!)

Well, it's about time for me to March forth.

Remember...

Life is good, even when it's not!

Ladeedoo

God is great and good and kind and nice and cool and awesome and funny and kind and sensitive and pretty much any other positive adjective you can think of.

Yeah, I went to the parish mission tonight and I learned that I need to relate to God as a person in my life instead of some bearded guy up in the heaven office standing by on the prayer line. And I think I pinned down why I've been so restless for the last couple weeks. It's because I was not relating to God as a person, but more as some spiritual being up in the clouds somewhere. And the whole realization that God is someone I can relate to in daily life is just so great. It makes me feel so very happy. And when you're really happy you can't help but tell everyone.

It's 10:39, and you are loved!

Pop Tart Post

I'm currently waiting for my Pop Tart to toast. So while it toasts, I'll make this post. I hope the most for the pop tart post. It popped. I need to check it. It didn't like being in the toaster. But I don't care what it thinks, I'm going to eats it!! MUAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
