Axis & Allies

I would have posted a post like this very one yesterday, but I was disinclined to, as by the time I remembered I was wanting to post a post like this one, the computer was off, and I didn't want to wait for it to boot. But ok, anyways, to the post!

I finally got to play Axis & Allies for the first time yesterday!!(I've had it for a year and a half!) The Allies were: Noah was the Soviets, Mark was UK and Jordy was US. And on the Axis side I was Germany and Michael was Japan. Axis dominated most of the game. There was a turn or two when it looked like all my work on the Russian front was about to collapse, but, thanks to attrition I won in the end. Michael wasn't able to take LA, though he blockaded it for a good third of the game. It was a very good game overall, challenging, and lots of fun. We're hoping to play again, with Michael and I on different sides. That'll make quite a bit of difference I think.
